PLEASE NOTE: WSA is a proud member of the USASF (U.S. Allstar Federation). We will be following rules and guidelines that have been set forth by the USASF.

WSA is a Tier 1 member of the USASF and follow all rules and guidelines set forth by the USASF.  Please refer to the link below for all USASF rules and regulations.

Rules and Regulations

I. Size Category: (Cheerleading and Dance)
Small Squads - School squads-15 members or less
All Star squads-20 members or less
Large Squads -School squads-16 members or more
All Star squads-21 members or more
Worlds qualifying teams are limited to 35 members

II. Competition Category: (Cheerleading and Dance)

Cheerleading
Cheer / Music Routine -Time limit - Max 2 minutes 30 seconds. No more than 1 minute & 30 seconds of music.

All Music Cheer Routines - Time Limit - Max 2 minutes 30 seconds. All-star teams only.

Dance
Pom -Time Limit - Max 2 minutes 30 seconds.. Routines must consist of music and dance material only. No tumbling or partner stunting is allowed. Props and jumps are allowed. Poms must be used for a minimum of 75% of routine.

Jazz/Funk - Time Limit - Max 2 minutes 30 seconds. Routines must consist of music and dance material only. No tumbling or partner stunting is allowed. Props and jumps are allowed.

Hip Hop - Time Limit - Max 2 minutes 30 seconds. Routines must consist of music and dance material only. No tumbling or partner stunting is allowed. Props and jumps are allowed.

Open-Time Limit- 3 minutes. Any dance style or form is allowed. Tumbling and acrobatics allowed.

Individual Competition
Best Cheerleader - Time Limit - Max 1 minute 30 seconds. Routine may be set to music and should consist on cheer, dance, tumbling, and jumps.

Crowd Pleaser - Time Limit - Max 1 minute 30 seconds. Routine may be set to music and should consist on cheer, dance, tumbling, and jumps. No tumbling of any form is allowed in this division.

Partner Stunt - Time Limit - Max 1 minute set to music. Group may have no more than 5 members.

Power Jumps - Music is not allowed.  competitors must execute 3 different jumps.  No cheers or chants allowed, and only short spirit-type motions and words will be allowed between jumps.

Individual Dancer - Time Limit - Max 1 minute 30 seconds set to music. Routine should consist of dance with no limit on jumps or leaps. No Tumbling. NOTE: Open division allows tumbling and a 3 minute time limit.

Duo/Trio Dance - Time Limit - Max 1 minute 30 seconds set to music. Group may have 2 or 3 members. No limit on jumps or leaps. No Tumbling. Open division allows tumbling and a 3 minute time limit.

Best Tumbler / Duo Tumble - Time Limit - Max 1 minute 30 seconds. Routine may be set to music and should consist of tumbling, both standing and running. Participants can perform as many skills as the wish in the time permitted.
