Hello to all Coaches. 

I have some exciting new additions at WSA Grand Nationals that I want to make you aware of.

COACHES PARTY

 We will be hosting a coaches party in the French Quarter. This is an awesome time to meet other coaches from around the country and do some hob knobing.  The party is all on us, so make sure you don’t miss it.

Time:                      8:30 pm – 10:30 pm

The schedule below is an approximate schedule only.  Times on this schedule can change as much as 2 hours.   DO NOT book flights or other important meetings based on this schedule.  This schedule is based on registration received as of 2/2/2009.

PARTICIPANT PARTY - Mardi Gras Style

We will be throwing a Mardi Gras Party, New Orleans style for all participants on Saturday after the competition.  Everybody should dress up in your Mardi Gras gear and head to the throw down.   Wear your purple, green, and gold clothes and pile on all the mardi gras goodies from New Orleans that you can find.  Beads, Masks, etc.

Time:                      7:30 pm – 9:00 pm

FREE PRACTICE FLOORS 

You MUST sign up in advance and be assigned a time slot.

Sign up will begin Wednesday, March 4, 12 noon CST

We will be offering free practice times to all teams Friday, March 13.  This free practice area will be in the event warm up area at the convention center in hall B1.  You will get a complete run through in the practice area. 

Time:  5:00 pm – 11:00 pm

Warm up area consists of

 12X42 Non Spring Mats                   (7 minutes)           

12 X 60 Spring Tumble Track           (7 minutes)           

54 X 42 Spring Floor                         (7 minutes)

PERFORM ON STAGE- PRE EVENT

You MUST sign up in advance and be assigned a time slot.

Sign up will begin Wednesday, March 4, 12 noon CST

Time:  5:30 pm – 11:30 pm

We will be offering 5 minute time slots on the actual performance floor.  You will be on stage and under full lighting production.  The fee for this is $100 per team.   This is not mandatory for teams. Available Friday, March 13.

FREE PRACTICE AREA ALL WEEKEND

We will be offering a free practice area all weekend long starting Saturday at 8 am.   This area will not be monitored by WSA and we ask that teams limit there practice to no more than 30 minutes in the event that other teams are waiting.  There will matted and carpeted area.  No spring flooring is available.

PRIVATE TEAM MEETING ROOMS AVAILABLE

We will have private rooms available to teams above the competition halls.   Rooms are limited and on a first come first serve basis.  You must sign up and pay for your room at the time of booking.

Size:                       Approximately 1000 sq feet

Cost :                     $700 total for entire weekend

Time:                      Saturday 8:00 am – Sunday 8:00 pm
